45A CYCLE RESULTS THAT TURN HEADS 🔋⚡ Earlier in 2024-06, we cycled a Team Exalt X-Rated EXA3202 2S 5700mAh 135C pack at 45A using our Regenerative Discharger 4S.
At that current, the voltage stayed solid and the internal resistance (IR) was very low. ✅🔧 Based on those results, the Team Exalt X-Rated EXA3202 2S battery proved to be an excellent option for stock racing. Another great day to wrap up the event here at Canberra Off Road Model Car Club.
Track conditions were extremely tricky today, with on and off sprinkles 🌧️ and track was mega polished and slick.
Was able to get TQ in 4wd with 3 round TQ’s, trying small changes in each run. Had a strong A1 taking the win with a good buffer, A2 early mistake dropping to 8th 🤦♂️ but fought back to 3rd for the run. Then with an insane A3 crossed the line first to take the 4wd title and my 5th Modified Title! 🏆
My #Hobbywing powered #B84.1D with #TeamEAM 4600mAh battery, #PowerHD GTS-3 and #JConcepts P2 was once again solid enabling me to take the title!
Truck was good fun, worked through some gremlins in the first few qualifiers but got Q4. Started 2nd, with a solid drive in A1 took the win, finished 2nd in A2 with a close race with Lachie and again 2nd in A3 after another nose to tail race but couldn’t find a way past after another solid drive from Lachie, so 2nd 🥈 overall with my #T7 congrats to him on his win!
Once again thanks to the club for their hard work and everyone that helped chip in to get the track runnable so we could crown some champions. Also shoutout to canteen crew 👌 Was cool having On Track RC Media to capture the action and be able to look back on!

Awesome day here at Canberra Off Road Model Car Club! Came down yesterday and spent the day sweeping 🧹 puddles from the track with the guys and everyone chipped in this morning and we got the track runnable by Midday, big effort by the club and everyone involved!
We had Q3 which I had another solid run to clean sweep qualifying, then went on to have two solid A1 and A2 drives getting a comfortable gap at the start and maintained it to get the win 🥇!
Congrats to Jordy and Ari on their podiums! Congrats also to AE teammates on the complete sweep today with Glen taking the win in stock, Zac in junior and Tyler in SCT!

URGENT iCHARGER SAFETY CHECK 🚨🔧 Ever pop the lid on your iCharger and wonder if everything is actually there?
Earlier in 2026-02 we flagged a critical factory oversight affecting 456DUO, 458DUO, and 4512DUO units: some shipped missing the C29 capacitor. If you kept dual cycling like normal, it could’ve led to a catastrophic failure that blew the circuit board ⚠️ We told everyone to stop using Cycle Mode for dual cycling immediately and inspect the C29 slot on the board 🔍 If it was empty, it needed the fix. If you absolutely had to run it before repairing, we also noted the workaround: set a 1-minute delay in Cycle Mode to help reduce the power surge that causes the “Soft Reset” ⏱️
