Up in the Northeast (NJ/NY/Eastern PA), one of the very first RCDischarger.com end users rolled into the pits with the new RC Discharger… and immediately got *those* looks when he told everyone he paid $400 for it. 😅
Before that? He was hauling a whole setup just to cycle two packs at once: (2) $300 Junsi iChargers, (2) $100 DRC resistor banks, and (2) $90 85a power supplies. Then he made the switch—sold one charger, one power supply, and both resistor banks… and it pretty much paid for the RC Discharger. 🙌
Now he’s cycling two packs on both channels with way less pit space and way less weight to lug around. But the best part? The battery performance: lower IR’s at lower temps, higher capacity in the cycle, and packs that “last forever.” 🔋🔥
And the plot twist: “just about every guy I race with now has one.” 😄

I ran the 360 sprints and crate late models. After some pointers from Brett Dukes, I got the cars dialed in. Ended up TQ in the sprint car (first laps on it was today) and winning both sprint and crate. Literally the most enjoyable time I’ve had racing my toy cars in a long, long time. Plus, I finally beat Jeff Greene in something lol. Not too bad for it being my first time racing on dirt.

Another solid day here at Canberra Off Road Model Car Club, very chilly day with some brutally cold winds 🥶.
Was able to pick up TQ in the 4 rounds of qualifying with some solid runs and then also take the wins in all 3 mains with my #Hobbywing & #EAM powered #B84D with JConcepts #P2 body🥇.
Some minor mistakes to iron out but car was in a good spot and learnt some things for nationals later this year!
Thanks again to the club for putting on the event, shortened layout worked great and track came up nicely and their food as usual on point 👌
Also congrats to Lachlan Munday RC Racer on his double podium and truck win and Nathaniel on his double stock podium, was a good time in the pits with the crew as well.

What a thrilling night at Slate Valley Raceway for the final points race of the winter series! Our driver Chad Bascue delivered an incredible performance in both the 360 sprint and midget classes. Starting 3rd in the A main for the midget class, they quickly took the lead and, despite some track challenges, fought back to secure an impressive 2nd place finish. The sprint class also showed amazing speed, with a 2nd place qualifying effort leading to a hard-earned 4th place finish in the main!

Had a really fast midget all night which placed me in the A, starting 3rd. Was able the get to the point fairly quickly in the main. Had a half a lap lead when a lapper decided he wanted the same piece of track I had, lol. Ended up getting back on the lead lap and finished with a 2nd. My sprint was also fast and was able to qualify 2nd in the A. Was a little off my qualifying pace in the main and finished with a 4th. Got beat out of the third-place spot by half a car link.

REAL WORLD IR FIX AT SNOWBIRDS 📉🔋 Earlier in 2026-02 at the 2026 Snowbird Nationals, a driver stopped by our pit running a simple resistor bank with a DX6 and wasn’t getting good IR readings.
We checked his setup and found two issues: bad firmware (1.16) and an undersized charge lead. 🛠️ We tested it on the spot and the difference was immediate—his setup read IR 2.2/2.1, and with an RC Discharger lead it dropped to IR 1.4/1.3. 📊⚡ Connections matter, and a thin wire can bottleneck accurate numbers when cycling at high amps.
