CYCLE MODE MADE SIMPLE 🔋⚡ Ever wondered how we ran Cycle at 40A on an iCharger S6 without tying up a charger output?
In 2024-07, we paired a single-output iCharger S6 with our Regenerative Discharger 2S and kept the setup clean and efficient. ✅ How does it work? The Regenerative Discharger was compatible with all iCharger models and let us discharge LiPo packs at 30A, 40A, 45A, or 70A while recovering energy for reuse during charging ♻️. It also didn’t block a charger output, so dual-output iChargers could keep using both outputs simultaneously. Why it mattered for Cycle mode: with iCharger S6, X6, X8, or X12, we could run Cycle without disconnecting a resistor bank after discharge 🔧. The iCharger S6 itself was a powerful 6S charger that could also discharge up to 40A, and combining it with the Regenerative Discharger made a solid workflow.

4wd day is done here at Keilor and another tough day of heads up racing with a very mixed bag of results for everyone, was able to get 2,2,2 & 5 scores to win the 4wd portion by 2 points and the overall by 4 points!!
Awesome to go back-to-back-to-back in such a tough format, was able to have just enough good luck 🍀 this time!

If you are noticing unusually high battery voltage readings popping up on your ToolkitRC M8D, the charger itself likely isn't the problem. After doing some troubleshooting, the real culprit became obvious: undersized, poor-quality charge leads.
When you use thin or poorly constructed charge cables, they create excessive electrical resistance.
